Congregations are organized into stakes, districts, and branches, which belong to a temple district. Following are the locations of the stake and district buildings belonging to the Louisville Kentucky Temple District.
The Louisville Kentucky Temple serves members from 12 stakes based in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia:"Organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing; and establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God."
